Pennsylvania State Police Release Holiday Enforcement Report for Schuylkill County

The Pennsylvania State Police released a report on their Thanksgiving Holiday Enforcement efforts.

During enforcement operations, law enforcement conducted seat belt and impaired driving enforcement simultaneously because unbelted and impaired driving crashes are shown to be significant contributors to traffic injuries and deaths, especially during nighttime hours.

From Wednesday through Sunday, the following was enforced by the State Police within Schuylkill County.

DUI Arrests - 6
Speeding Citations - 314
Child Passenger Citations - 2
Seatbelt Citations - 25
Seatbelt Warnings - 15
Other Citations - 198

Fatal Crashes - 0
Number Injured - 3
Alcohol Related Crashes - 2
