Just after 3:00pm, Saturday, emergency personnel were called to Koch's Turkey Farm, located at 50 Zehners Crossing Road, Walker Township, near Tamaqua for a working structure fire.
Initials reports were the fire started with an explosion in the storage unit.
Multiple units responded from Schuylkill and Carbon Counties including a tanker task force.
Fire crews remained on scene into the evening hours.
No cause has been determined and no animals were harmed.
A State Police Fire Marshal has been called to investigate.
