William Joseph “Bill” McGinn Jr., 62, of Shenandoah, passed away on December 9 at Geisinger Medical Center with his family by his side. Born in Ashland, he was the son of the late William and Nora McGinn.

He worked as a police officer until his retirement, and was a Life Member of the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 25, where he served as Vice President. He was former coach in the Shenandoah Youth Soccer Organization and former assistant coach with the Shenandoah Little League. Bill grew up in Mahanoy Plane.

Bill is survived by his wife Debby McGinn; son, Chad (Megan) McGinn; daughter Brianne (Gabe Murray) McGinn; his only grandson, and light of his life, Michael McGinn; brother, Joseph McGinn; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A viewing will be held on Saturday December 16,2017 from 5:00-6:30 P.M. at the Kull-Heizenroth Funeral Home, Ashland, PA. Services will begin at 6:30 P.M.

Clyde H. Mase, 93 years of age of Blue Mountain Drive, New Ringgold, Pennsylvania passed away on Wednesday, December 13, 2017, at home. 

Widower of Rose Marie (Rutch) Mase who passed on April 20, 2014 he is survived by; daughter, Joan Seyler of Bath; son, Frank W. Mase and his wife June of Freeport, ME; brother, Cleat Mase and his wife Sandy of New York; 4 grand children; 3 great grand children. 

Clyde served honorably in the United States Navy during WWII and then became an airplane mechanic at Quonsit Point Air Station in Rhode Island. CLyde and Rose Marie reside in Rhode Island for thirty years moving home in 1978. Clyde, was a member of Zion Stone Church of West Penn Twp., and was an avid outdoorsman. 

Born Wednesday, March 26, 1924 in Weissport, Pennsylvania the son of the late Frank, and Florence "Flossie" (Wertman) Mase. He was also predecesed by sister Cora Mase; brothers, Charles, Clavin, Clarence, and Curt Mase. 

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Robert S. Nester Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. of 2066 West Penn Pike New Ringgold, Pennsylvania. (570) 386-5884 

A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday December 19, 2017 at 11 o'clock A.M. from the funeral home, Rev. Russell Campbell to officiate. Friends may call on the morning of from 10:00 A.M. until time of services. 

Interment will be in Zion Stone Church Cemetery, New Ringgold, Pennsylvania.

Michael A. Hinkle, age 68, of Pottsville, PA , passed away with his loving wife by his side on Tuesday, December 12th, 2017 at his home.

Born in Pottsville, PA on October 2, 1949, he was the son of the late Chester M. and Helen L. (Trout) Hinkle.

Michael attended Blue Mountain High School and worked as a truck driver for Fanelli Brothers Trucking in Pottsville until retiring.

Michael is survived by his wife of 42 years, Mary D. (Lango) Hinkle; four sons: John Lango, Craig Lango and his wife Sharon, Michael J. Hinkle and his fiance' Cheryl Moyer-Webster, and Timothy A. Hinkle and his wife Kalyn; and six grandchildren: Ian, Daniel, Orion, Brent, Kali, and Dylan. 

A Memorial Service will be held at the Robert A. Evans Jr. Funeral Home, 208 Pike St., Port Carbon at 2PM on Monday, December 18th, with Rev. Lorraine Heckman officiating.

Relatives and Friends are invited to visit with the family Monday afternoon from 1-2PM at the Funeral Home.

Interment will be held private.
