Around 5:30pm, Thurdsay, emergency personnel were dispatched to 1881 Fair Road, in Wayne Township near Schuylkill Haven for a working house fire.
The fire that destroyed the trailer home was reported to have been under control within a half hour.
A Schuylkill County Coroner was called to the scene and authorities report that Russell Harley Sr, 89, died in the fire. He was pronounced dead at the scene just after 6:30pm.
A State Police Fire Marshal is investigating a cause.
