Lehigh Valley Hospital Expands Rehabilitation Services into Tamaqua

Lehigh Valley Hospital (LVH)–Schuylkill has expanded rehabilitation services into Tamaqua with the opening of LVHN Rehabilitation Services–Tamaqua.

The 1,800 square foot facility, located at 567 West Penn Pike, Suite 6A, offers physical, occupational and speech therapies by appointment, Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. New patients can schedule an appointment directly by calling 570-225-7550.

“LVH–Schuylkill has long been recognized as a leader for rehab services in our community and beyond,” says William Reppy, LVH–Schuylkill President. “We are very pleased to extend this service to residents of the Tamaqua area and to introduce them to Lehigh Valley Health Network.”

Kristina Guers, Vice President, Post-Acute Services with LVH–Schuylkill says LVHN Rehabilitation Services–Tamaqua is ready for patients. “Our new facility is furnished with specialty therapy equipment that’s needed for the delivery of high-quality rehabilitation care,” she says. “In addition, therapy staff members hired for this location are highly educated and engaged with the community.”

Lehigh Valley Physician Group (LVPG) also operates a family medicine practice just north of Tamaqua in Hometown. LVPG Family Medicine–Hometown, located near the intersection of Routes 309 and 54, is accepting new patients.
