Schuylkill Young Professionals Organization Launches

With support from the Schuylkill Chamber of Commerce, a group of young professional leaders announce the launch of the official Schuylkill Young Professionals Organization (SYPO).

The first networking event is set for Thursday, January 25, from 5-7 p.m. at The Crimson House in Pottsville, PA.  All business-minded professionals in their 20s and 30s are welcome to attend and encouraged to bring a donation to support the Hillside S.P.C.A.

“Formation of the Schuylkill Young Professionals Organization began back in September 2017. We saw the need for a young professionals organization to promote the development and interests of our next generation of leaders living and working in Schuylkill County. We hope this is just the start of a great initiative that will have a big impact on our community,” said Savas Logothetides, SYPO Chairman and owner of Wheel and The Crimson House restaurants.

The mission of the SYPO is to provide young professionals in Schuylkill County a platform with which to network while emphasizing opportunities for professional and economic growth, civic outreach, and the establishment of a jointed social voice.  The organization aims to create a strong community of business minded young professionals while making measurable impacts regarding their professional and personal lives.
