Last week, SEDCO welcomed 10 new members to their Board of Directors.

Steven Field, Chairman of the Schuylkill Economic Development Corporation (SEDCO), recently welcomed new members to the Board of Directors and a new Officer of the corporation.

At the January 11, 2018 annual meeting of the Board of Directors, Field welcomed ten new members. “Welcoming new Directors always brings with it a certain level of excitement for SEDCO’s ongoing efforts to stimulate job creation and private investment in Schuylkill County. The new Directors have an impressive amount of expertise in a diverse array of industries that is sure to contribute substantially to our mission,” said Field.

Joining the SEDCO Board of Directors this year are James Amato, Esq., Micah Gursky, J.T. Herber, Esq., Gary Karnish, Joseph Pilla, John Powers, Tony Prudenti, Christine Reiner, Tammy Sword and Christine Verdier.

In addition to the new Directors, a new Officer of the corporation was elected. According to Field “It’s an honor to have Christine Verdier join our Officers group as the new Assistant Treasurer. Christine’s role as Senator David Argall’s Chief of Staff is invaluable to an organization such as ours.”

The other Officers that were reelected are Field, Chairman, David Snyder, Vice Chairman, Karen Kenderdine, Secretary, Letitia Reiser, Assistant Secretary, Ken Huebner, Treasurer and Frank Zukas, President.

“It’s hard to believe another year has passed but a lot was accomplished during 2017. I’m confident that with our great team of volunteers and staff, 2018 can be even more successful,” said Field.
