Man Charged After Threatening Victim, Stealing Vehicle, and Crashing into Home

A man has been charged after a robbery that lead to a stolen vehicle being crashed into a home on Saturday evening.

According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville, the incident began around 7:00pm, Saturday, in the 700 block of Sunbury Road in Cass Township, when it was reported that a 26 year old man was robbed of his personal belongings and his vehicle.

Police say Kevin Mabry, 31, of Minersville struck the victim with his fists and removed an Apple Watch, IPhone, and car keys.  He also placed a knife to the victim's neck and stole his car keys.

Mabry then stole the victims vehicle and fled the scene.

Not long after fleeing, Mabry was involved in a crash with the stolen vehicle where is struck the front porch of a residence near the intersection of Sunbury Road (Route 901) and Forest Lane,

Mabry suffered injuries bad enough that he was flown to an area hospital.

Police have charged Mabry with Robbery, theft, aggravated assault, recklessly endangering another person, terroristic threats, simple assault and harassment.

DUI charges are still pending.
