Faye A. Dissinger, 77, of Laurel St., Pine Grove, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 16, 2017 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown.
Born on August 3, 1940 in Pottsville, she was a daughter of the late Claude and Mildred Hartman Krammes.
She was a 1958 graduate of Pine Grove High School and was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Pine Grove.
Faye was a seamstress for most of her working days at Canoe Mfg., Pine Grove, but her real passion was music. You see, God gave her a gift, "TALENT". Having never taken a lesson, she could read, write, play and teach music (piano). She was quite an amazing piano and organ player for many churches in the area, too many to name. She also volunteered with the Kitchen Band, PA Dutch Band and Senior Citizens.
She will be greatly missed but God needed another Angel.
Preceding her in death was a brother Kenneth Krammes and a sister Nancy Jean Miller.
Surviving are her husband of nearly 58 years, Ralph Dissinger; two sons, Keith and wife Ann Dissinger of Bonneyville, Alberta, Canada, Lane and wife April Dissinger of Pine Grove; a daughter Leigh Anne Miller of Pine Grove; three grandchildren, Amanda Lucas, Russell Dissinger, Sr., both of Pine Grove and Toni Dissinger of Orwigsburg; three great grandchildren, Heaven Dissinger, Kaylee Dissinger and Russell Dissinger, Jr.; a sister Donna and husband Tom Griffiths of Carlisle; nieces and nephews.
Memorial Services will be held on Thursday, February 22, 2018, at 12:30 P.M. at the H. L. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., Pine Grove with SALM John Ziegler officiating. There will be a calling time on Thursday, February 22 from 11:00 A.M. until time of service at the Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Manbeck's Cemetery, Schuylkill Haven.
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer contributions in her memory be made to either Ralph Dissinger, 43 Laurel St., Pine Grove, Pa. 17963 or the H. L. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., 139 S. Tulpehocken St., Pine Grove, Pa. 17963 to help her family with funeral expenses.
