Warren A. Hile, Jr., 59 of Tamaqua, Pennsylvania died on Thursday, February 1, 2018, in Lehighton from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. 

Survived by his wife of thirty-seven years, Suzanne L. (Gerber) Hiles; son Warren A. Hiles III and his wife Michele of Lebanon; grandson Trent D. Hiles; sister, Ruth Nickles. 

A Middleburg High School graduate, Warren had worked for Remmey Pallet Company. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and hunting. Warren enjoyed the companionship of his dog Mollie Girl who perished in the accident. 

Born Wednesday, June 4, 1958 in Sunbury, Pennsylvania son of the late Warren A. Hiles, Sr., and Anna Mae (Clarke) Hiles.

Theresa Anspach, 90, of Pottsville, passed away on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at the Lehigh Valley Hospital Schuylkill East.

Born on August 23, 1927 in Pottsville, she was a daughter of the late Francesco and Theresa Costanzo Caruso.

She belonged to St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Pottsville and had been attending Hetzel's UCC for the past 14 years.

Theresa was a seamstress and worked for different factories in the area.

She was a member of the Pine Grove Senior Citizens, Tremont Senior Citizens, Palo Alto Fire Co. Women's Auxiliary and various other social clubs. She loved cooking for others, baking with her family, crocheting and enjoyed helping in the kitchen at Hetzel's Church.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Paul "Zook" Anspach, a son, Harold Anspach, a granddaughter Melissa Anspach, a great-grandson Joshua High, 13 brothers and sisters.
Surviving are two daughters, Dorothy and husband Leslie Krause of Pine Grove, Janice Wright of Maryland, a son, Paul Steven "Steve" Anspach; a daughter-in-law Joanne Anspach of Pine Grove; 8 grandchildren, John and wife Kelly Krause, Kim and husband Kevin Steigerwalt, Jason Krause, Jessica High, Monika Wright, Brittany Daman, Jodi and husband Gerald Fasnacht, Rob and wife Alex Anspach, 16 great-grandchildren, Brandy and husband Matt Fischer, Dustin Krause, Nathan and Alex Steigerwalt, Malachi Krause, Janelle, Jolyssa and Jeremiah High, Nathan and Brynn Webb, Sienna Damon, Dylan, Taylor and Austin Fasnacht, Griffin and Georgia Anspach; a sister Mary Ayello of Pottsville; numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial Services will be held on Friday, February 9, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Hetzel's UCC, 261 Hetzel's Church Rd., Pine Grove with Pastor Jill Bierwirth officiating. There will be a visitation on Friday, February 9, 2018 from 10:00 AM until time of service at the Church. Interment will be at a later date in Hetzel's Cemetery, Pine Grove.

In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer contributions be made in Theresa's memory to Hetzel's UCC, 261 Hetzel's Church Rd. Pine Grove, PA 17963.

Roberta M. Stauffenberg, 90, of Pine Grove, passed away on Wednesday, January 31 at Providence Place.

Born on January 7, 1928 in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Herbert and Grace Spittler Stauffenberg Schneck.
She was a 1945 graduate of Pine Grove High School and a 1950 graduate of Temple University with a B.S. in Medical Technology.
She was a Captain in the Air Force having served during the Vietnam War and worked in the USAF Regional Hospital.
Roberta was a Medical Technologist and retired from the Food & Drug Administration.
She was a member, for more than 50 years, of the former Mary E. Moore Chapter O.E.S. and Pine 
Grove Senior Citizens.
Surviving are cousins and friends.
All services will be private. Interment will be in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Pine Grove.

Joan E. Starkey, age 75, of Maple Hill, died Thursday morning at York Terrace in Pottsville. Born in Luton Bedsford England she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Gladys Jane "Midge" (Hammond) Rampley. She graduated high school in England coming to the United States in 1966 and worked as a homemaker. She was of the Protestant faith. She enjoyed picnics with her family at the local state parks. Having a sweet nature and kind of heart she was loved by all who met her. Preceding her in death in addition to her parents were her husband John in 2004 and a brother Jimmy Rampley. Survivors include three daughters Donna Starkey of Maple Hill, Susan Lowes and her husband Albert of Oklahoma City , Oklahoma, Debra Branson of Pottsville, 2 sons John Starkey Jr. of Maple Hill and Paul Rampley of England, 3 grandchildren Lauren and Shane Starkey and Ashley Whiting. She is also survived by several brothers and sisters and nieces and nephews. Private services will be held from David D. Jarrett Funeral Home of Mahanoy City.
