According to Mahoning Township, a two vehicle crash occurred on Route 443 between the Normal Square Inn and Springhouse Road.
Police say Warren Hile Jr. 59, of Tamaqua, and a dog were both killed in the crash. Two others, Tina Martin, 57, of New Ringgold and Roland Martin, 65, of New Ringgold were also injured.
Martin was flown to an area hospital while Roland was transported by ambulance
