According to Schuylkill County Deputy Coroner Andrew Szczyglak, the body found in Butler Township, near the Frackville sewage treatment plant, was identified as Charles Walker, 74, of Frackville.
Walker was last see on or about February 15, 2018. Police say an exact date is unknown due to the fact that Mr. Walker lives alone.
Walker’s body was found in a marshy area near the sewage treatment plant Wednesday afternoon around 1:30pm. The Mahanoy City West End Dive Team assisted in the recovery.
Walker was reported to be possibly suffering from early stages of dementia.
No foul play is suspected.
