Alinsky Withdraws Guilty Plea in Luzerne County Murder Case
WNEP is reporting that Jessica Alinsky, formerly of Shenandoah, who pleaded guilty last month, to murdering her boyfriend in 2011 in Luzerne County, has now withdrew her Guilty Plea.

Pottsville fire put out the blaze while Pottsville Fire Police closed Route 61.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announced new traffic patterns for Route 61 near Pottsville starting Monday.

Governor Corbett Supports Medical Marijuana Extract for Children With Seizures
News out of Harrisburg, Gov. Tom Corbett has changed his position on medical marijuana and is backing the legalization of a marijuana extract to treat severe seizures in children
Corbett had been under pressure from parents who believe the oil extract, called cannabidiol, can save the lives of their seizure-wracked children. Democrats running to challenge Corbett in the fall election also favor the legalization of medical marijuana.
Corbett's office confirmed to the Associated Press on Thursday of his decision.
