Lehigh Carbon Community College's (LCCC) School of Healthcare Science is now accepting applications from new or current students for admission for either the spring or fall 2017 semester in the Medical Assistant program. Students will no longer need to wait for admission into the program for the fall semester. Applications will be accepted for consideration of admission throughout the year, until the spring and fall cohorts are filled.
Medical assistants are in the forefront of patient care, interacting with patients upon their initial contact with a healthcare facility. LCCC’s program is fully accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) upon the recommendation of the Medical Assisting Education Review Board (MAERB). Individuals who successfully pass the CMA exam will become certified medical assistants.
For more information, contact Karen Fogle, coordinator of LCCC’s Medical Assistant program, at 610-799-1516 or kfogle@lccc.edu or academic advisor Kate MacDonald at 610-799-1569 or kmacdonald@lccc.edu.
