UPDATE: Thousands of Bags of Heroin Seized

On February 26th, 2015, the Shenandoah Police Department and the Pennsylvania State Police executed two simultaneous drug raids in the borough seizing thousands of bags of heroine.


According to Shenandoah Borough Police, two search warrants were served at 221 West Coal Street and 26 South Grant Street.  The warrants were issued in relation to the sale of heroin in the borough.

Between the two properties, over 7,100 bags of heroin were seized with an approximate street value of $71,000.00.  Along with the heroin, 2 handguns, several hundred rounds of ammunition, approximately 20 grams of cocaine, and $8,000 in cash.

Surveillance cameras and monitoring equipment were also seized at the 26 South Grant Street Address.

UPDATE:
Shenandoah Borough Police provided the following information regarding two individuals charged

Paul Jadus, 49, and Jarrid Finneran, 32, both charged with manufacture, delivery, or possession with intent to manufacture or deliver a controlled substance; Jadus was also charged with possessing a firearm(Prohibited)

Both were committed to Schuylkill County Prison; unable to post bail
