Ashland Activates Drought Contingency Plan

Due to drought conditions, the Ashland Area Municipal Authority is activating Stage 1 of our Drought Contingency Plan for all customers.

Stage 1 prohibits all Non-Essential Water Uses in our service area. 






The following water uses are declared nonessential and are prohibited within the Service Area: 
  • serving water in restaurants, clubs or eating places unless specifically requested by the individual; and ornamental water use. 
  • watering of lawns, outdoor gardens, landscaped areas, trees, shrubs,and other outdoor plants;
  • washing of automobiles and trucks; washing of streets, driveways, and sidewalks;
