State Police Seize $500,000 Worth of THC Edibles During Traffic Stop in Lebanon County

State Police from the Jonestown Barracks made an unexpected drug bust early Saturday morning in Lebanon County.

According to Troopers, around 1:00am, Saturday, a traffic stop was made near mile marker 1.5 on Interstate 78 in Union Township, Lebanon County, on a vehicle for multiple vehicle code violations.

During the course of the traffic stop, Troopers noticed multiple indicators that criminal activity was taking place.

A State Police K9 was deployed on the vehicle and alerted police of the presence of narcotics.

A search warrant was prepared and executed where over 9,000 grams of THC edibles, over 9,500 THC cartridges, and over 450 THC candy bars were seized.

The estimated street value of all of the contents was approximately $500,000.

As a result of the investigation and finding, Chanthom Khut, 34, and Veronica Desimone, 27 were taken into custody and charged.
