Motorcycle Rider Transported After Crash on Two-Miler near Frackville

One person was injured after a crash near Frackville on Thursday morning.

Just before 10:00am, emergency personnel were called to "the middle" of the two-miler in Butler Township for a motor vehicle accident involving a motorcycle.

The rider was reportedly traveling uphill towards Frackville when he veered off the roadway and struck a guide rail throwing him from the bike and splitting it in two.

The rider was transported by Shenandoah Ambulance to an area hospital with unknown injuries.
