A man on a motorcycle was flown after a crash in Mahanoy City on Friday afternoon.
Just after 4:00pm, emergency personnel were dispatched to the area of Centre Street and Main Street in the borough for a motorcycle accident with injuries.
The crash involved a motorcycle that struck the side of a Toyota Corolla throwing the rider from the bike near the entrance to the Rite Aid parking lot.
The woman that was inside the vehicle was also trapped for a short time because the driver's side door would not open.
The driver of the motorcycle was transported to the Shenandoah Helipad where he was flown for his injuries.
