Masks to be Required for Visitors and Employees of the Schuylkill County Government Facilities

With the rise of new COVID-19 cases across Pennsylvania and Schuylkill County,  Schuylkill County Officials are reimplementing the mask requirement policy in County-owned facilities.

According the Office of Human Resources for Schuylkill County, the new requirements will go into place starting Tuesday, August 17th, 2021.

In a press release, it was stated, 

"The County of Schuylkill considers the health and safety of our employees, visitors, and their families a top priority. Due to the recent substantial spread of the coronavirus locally, the County of Schuylkill will require all employees and visitors, regardless of vaccination status, to wear a mask when inside County facilities. The County will continue to monitor the levels of community transmission of the coronavirus and take necessary steps to protect the health and safety of our employees, visitors, and their families.".
