The Pennsylvania State Police at Schuylkill Haven are investigating a reported assault in North Manheim Township.
According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Schuylkill Haven, on Tuesday, September 7th, 2021, around 6:45pm, a 35 year old woman was assaulted along Route 61 south near the Cressona Mall. The victim was said to have been hit multiple times with a metal pipe.
After the assault, the suspect fled on foot.
