A Pine Grove man is locked up in Schuylkill County Prison after leading State Police in a pursuit on Saturday.
According to Troopers from the Schuylkill Haven Barracks, on Saturday, October 13th, 2021, around 2:50am, a traffic stop was attempted on James Beuchler, 41, of Pine Grove for a traffic violation at the Ravine Truck Stop.
Beuchler failed to stop and attempted to flee.
A 5 minute pursuit ensued through Pine Grove Township until Beuchler lost control of his Ford Focus and struck a tree.
Beuchler was taken into custody where drug paraphernalia was found and he also showed signs of impairment.
After being taken into custody and arraigned before on-call Magisterial District Judge Kilker who locked Beuchler up in Schuylkill County Prison on 10% of $25,000 bail.
