Schuylkill County General Election Results: Ashland Elects New Mayor

Voters in the Borough of Ashland have elected Lorenda Kutz as the community’s next mayor, succeeding outgoing Mayor Daniel Weikel, who chose not to seek reelection.
According to unofficial election results, Kutz, the Republican candidate, received 279 votes to Democratic challenger Antimo “Brooklyn” Esposito’s 220.

Kutz will take office in January 2026, marking a new chapter in Ashland’s local leadership. 

Mayor Daniel Weikel, who has served since 2022, announced earlier this year that he would not pursue another term.
