The Bloomsburg Police Department has identified the suspect involved in the shooting that occurred on Saturday, November 1, 2025, as 19-year-old, Samuel Charles Evans.
Following a comprehensive investigation, officers confirmed Evans’ identity and filed multiple charges, including Attempted Criminal Homicide, Aggravated Assault, Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Firearms Not to Be Carried Without a License, Possession of a Weapon, Terroristic Threats with Intent to Terrorize Another, and Recklessly Endangering Another Person.
With assistance from the U.S. Marshals Task Force, Evans was taken into custody without incident at his residence in Mahanoy City.
He is being held in the Columbia County Prison in lieu of $500,000 bail.
