The Pennsylvania State Police at Schuylkill Haven are investigating a retail theft incident that occurred along Route 61 on Saturday, October 25, 2025.
According to troopers, the theft involved two Pottsville businesses — Adult Shop 61 and Boosted Diesel. Police say a 53-year-old man from Tamaqua was identified as the suspect in connection with the incident.
Investigators report that items stolen included a Whipsmart Bondage Sex Swing valued at $296.79 and a one-piece aluminum driveshaft for a Dodge Ram truck valued at $2,000.
The suspect was reportedly operating a blue 2016 Ford vehicle at the time of the incident.
State Police at Schuylkill Haven continue to investigate the case. According to online court records, no charges have been filed in the incident.
