Born in Wolf Summit, West Virginia on January 10, 1943, she was a daughter of the late Robert Neil McKinney and the late Loretta Gerladin Lake McKinney. She was a cosmetologist.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Herbert E. Fincham, in 2019; her daughter, Angel Lynn Ayres, in 1992; two brothers, Roger Dale McKinney and Gerry Neal McKinney; a sister, Janice Faye McKinney.
Carol is survived by her granddaughter, Kelly Hein (spouse, Bruce Hein), Minersville, her grandson, Jeffrey Ayres, Pottsville; her great-grandchildren, Dakota, Angela, Austin, Aiden and April Hein, Minersville, and Daniel Ayres, of Marlin. She is also survived by a sister-in-law, Patty, McKinney; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The family will celebrate Carol’s life privately at a later date. Dutcavich Funeral Home has charge.
