Born January 3, 1957, he was the son of the late Robert Hufnagle and Arline Hufnagle.
Donn was a graduate of Pottsville Area High School. He was also a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Pottsville. Donn was employed for 25 years and retired from D.G. Yuengling & Son, Inc. Brewery in Pottsville.
Donn appreciated all types of music and sports. He loved the beach where he and his wife were married. He cherished the time he spent traveling. His favorite place to spend time was the Great Smokey Mountains in Tennessee. He and his wife, Jennifer had made Tennessee their second home.
Donn was actively involved with Railway Little League. He joined his father coaching which included them coaching his sons. He also coached his sons in the Pottsville youth bitty basketball league. He enjoyed anything outdoors. Some of his best memories were spent fishing with his sons.
Donn is survived by wife Jennifer Painter-Hufnagle. He is also survived by his sons, Eric Hufnagle husband to Angela of Auburn and Alex Hufnagle husband to Melissa of Port Carbon, PA along with his granddaughter Adaline and his mother Arline. Donn is also survived by his sister Karlene Guzick wife of Roy and brother Mark Hufnagle along with nieces, nephews, and in-laws. Donn was loved by his family and will be greatly missed.
A visitation will be held on Saturday at Grabowski Funeral Home, Schuylkill Haven from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. Services are private at the convenience of the family. Grabowski Funeral Home, Schuylkill Haven is entrusted with the services. Interment will take place on the grounds of Calvary Cemetery in Pottsville.
