She was born in Middleport, Schuylkill County, to the late Edward V. and Susan V. (Schappell) Miller.
Elizabeth was a dedicated and devoted mother to her four daughters. Her family will miss her steady presence and gentle guidance. Music and movies brought her great joy, especially Elvis.
Left to treasure Elizabeth’s memory are her daughters: Minnie A. Maurer, wife of Timothy, of Sinking Spring; Wanda J. Bowman, partner of Carol, of Hamburg; May L. Bowman of Shoemakersville; and Holly S. Domino, wife of Max, of Doylestown; grandchildren, Hope and Hayden Stumhofer and Ryan Domingo; brother, Edward Miller; and sisters, Susan Harner and Joan Heckman. Elizabeth is also survived by many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, George, and parents, Elizabeth was predeceased by her sisters, Mary Benson, Sally Nelson, Marie Major, and Margie Linebar.
A Prayer Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October 31, 2022, at Burkey-Driscoll Funeral Home, 40 S 4th Street, Hamburg, with committal to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery. Friends are invited to visit the family beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
