OBITUARY: Patricia Bartusik, 79, of Ridley Park

Patricia Bartusik (nee Wood), 79, of Ridley Park, Pennsylvania, and known to all as "Bippy", passed on October 18, 2022, in Bloomsburg.

She was the most beloved wife of Ignatius Bartusik for a wonderful 56 years. Patricia was born on April 10, 1943. Born in Chester, Pat was a graduate of Ridley Township High School (1961) and Montgomery Hospital School of Nursing (1964). She worked in health care her whole life with most of her career at Taylor Hospital. A woman of great faith, she worshiped her Lord and Savior at the former Olivet Presbyterian Church and then Wallingford Presbyterian Church. She split her time between Ridley Park and the family home outside of Bloomsburg where she was always watching any of her Philadelphia sports teams.

She was the loving mother to Ronald Bartusik (Randi) and Cynthia Law (Scott). Her greatest joy was her watching her four grandchildren in all of their various sporting and artistic events. Bradley Bartusik, Ryan Bartusik, Tyler Law and Sara Law were truly the apple of "The Bip's" eye.

She is preceded in death by her loving parents, R. Calvert and Louise Wood and her sister, Helen Geist.

She is also survived by her sister Elizabeth Blair (Ken), nephew Robert Geist and niece Patricia Austin, and dozens and dozens of friends and extended family.

A visitation for family and friends will take place on Monday, October 24, from 9 to 10:30am at the Oravitz Home for Funerals Inc, 40 N. Jardin St, Shenandoah. Scripture services will be held at 10:30am in the funeral home and will be conducted by Deacon Jack Quirk. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
