Born in Brooklyn, NY, he was a son of the late Joseph Goity and Millie (Weisenger) Goity. Being a very handy person, Raymond was employed as a superintendent for residential buildings in Manhattan. He enjoyed working on cars and watching television and could be found passing free time watching the Honeymooners, true crime shows, and his favorite – John Wayne movies.
The very best dad anyone could have, Raymond is survived by his children, Eileen Rubin of Orlando, FL, Michael Rubin of Staten Island, NY, Raymond Rubin of North Carolina, Millie Ashmore and her husband William of Summit Hill, PA, Jerica Rubin and partner John Curry of South Carolina, Jenna Rubin and partner Jesus Ruiz of Manhattan, NY, and Jesse Rubin and partner Janissa Rivera of Manhattan; 13 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; sister, Betty Kozlowski and husband Charles of New Jersey; and several nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by a son, David Rubin and siblings, Charles Goity, Susan Goity, and Larry Goity.
Calling hours will be held from 2-4 PM on Thursday, October 20, 2022, at the Zizelmann-Gulla Funeral Home, 500 East Broad Street, Tamaqua.
