OBITUARY: Russell L. Fidler, 90 of Schuylkill Haven

Russell L. Fidler
, 90 of Schuylkill Haven passed away Oct. 10 at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.

Born March 30, 1932, in Schuylkill Haven, he was the son of the late Elias and Mabel Fidler.

After graduating from Schuylkill Haven High School, Russell went on to serve in the United States Air Force.

He was a member of Grace Free Church in Cressona. Russell was a member of the Masonic lodge and VFW. He enjoyed participating on mission trips and traveling in his RV with Emily and Mark. Russell worked for the railroad throughout his life and was also an independent truck driver.

In addition to his parents, Russell is preceded in death by grandson, Roger Lehman, Jr.

He is survived by his wife Emily along with his children, Lee Russell Fidler, Scott Christopher Fidler, husband to Stephanie, Beverly Spangler wife of Jay, Guy Lehman husband to Kathryn, Roger Lehman, husband to Jacqui, Karen Perkins, wife of John, and Mark Lehman. He is also survived by grandchildren, Valery, Jayson, Mason, Stephanie, Guy III, Matthew, Brittney, Cheyenne, Sara, Mackenzie, Brooke, Curtis, Jordan, and Emily, greatgrandchildren, Kilian, Evelynn, Livinia, Chase, Andrew, Kelsey, Matthew Jr., Jack, Ridge, Niko, Brock, Holden, Mayve.

A funeral service will be held at Grace Free Church on Friday at 11:00 A.M. Family and friends are welcome from 10:00 A.M. until the time of services. Interment will follow at Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery in Annville. Grabowski Funeral Home, Schuylkill Haven is entrusted with services. In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to be made in memory of Russ to Grace Free Church, 101 Graeff Street, Cressona, PA 17929.
