Schuylkill Technology Center Awarded Grant for Equipment Upgrades

Governor Tom Wolf announced Wednesday that the Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) is awarding nearly $1.2 million in competitive grants to 38 career and technical centers and area vocational technical education schools to purchase new equipment that will give students hands-on training for careers needed by local employers.

Public Assistance Approved for Federal Aid for August Storms

Governor Tom Wolf announced Tuesday that the federal government has granted his request for Public Assistance to reimburse state agencies, county and municipal governments and other eligible private non-profits for costs associated with severe storms that brought heavy rainfall and severe flash flooding to parts of Pennsylvania from August 10 to 15, 2018.
