Nationwide Winter Weather Delays COVID Vaccine Shipments, Forces Appointment Changes at Geisinger

Due to the severe winter weather that has impacted much of the country, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has notified several states, including Pennsylvania, that expected COVID vaccine shipments for this week will be delayed.

CORONAVIRUS UPDATE: Pennsylvania Reports Highest One Day Positive Case Totals Since Start of Pandemic

On Monday, the Pennsylvania Department of Health confirmed as of 12:00 a.m., November 9, that there were 3,402 new cases, in addition to 2,909 new cases reported Sunday, November 8 for a two-day total of 6,311 additional positive cases of COVID-19, bringing the statewide total to 234,296.
