Overturned Tractor Trailer Spills 40,000 Pounds of Tortillas onto Route 901 on Tuesday

On Tuesday, a crash led to a tractor trailer overturning and spilling over 40,000 pounds of tortillas onto Route 901 on Tuesday.

According to authorities, on Tuesday, around noon,  a tractor trailer hauling tortillas was travelling east on Route 901 near the Foster Township building when it took a turn too fast and struck a tractor trailer heading in the opposite direction.

The tractor trailer continued until it hit a car causing the truck and trailer to overturn spilling the 40,000 pounds of tortillas across Route 901.

All three drivers were reported to have suffered minor injuries in the crash.

Route 901 was closed for several hours and reopened around 5:00pm, Tuesday.
