On Saturday, Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania celebrated 104 graduating nursing students with a nursing pinning ceremony in Haas Center for the Arts on campus.

Schuylkill Technology Center Student Gives Back


A Williams Valley student that attends Schuylkill Technology Center came up with a way to give back to his fellow students.

Schuylkill Technology Center Students Build Custom Desk


Students enrolled at the Schuylkill Technology Center North Campus designed and built a custom desk for Kash Filiac, a second grade student enrolled at Saint Clair Area School District that provides more space for him to do his work and accommodate his wheel chair.

GPS Hospitality Awards $3,000 in Burger King Foundation Scholarships to Schuylkill Haven High School Graduates


GPS Hospitality, a rapidly growing franchisee with nearly 400 Burger King restaurants, is pleased to announce it will award the Burger King Foundation scholarships to 270 students in 10 states this graduation season. Out of that total, 3 Schuylkill Haven Area Seniors received the scholarship.

Tamaqua Area Senior Chosen to Participate in All-Eastern Honors Choral Festival



The Tamaqua Senior High School Vocal Music Department has announced that David Hull, a senior, was selected to participate in the 2021 All-Eastern Honors Choral festival.
