Schuylkill IU 29 Expands Pathways to Address Special Education Teacher Shortage

Schuylkill Intermediate Unit 29 is expanding access to the teaching profession through a series of new initiatives aimed at addressing the ongoing shortage of certified special education teachers across the region.

Schuylkill IU 29, STC Awarded $250K Grant to Launch County’s First Carpentry Pre-Apprenticeship Program

The Schuylkill Intermediate Unit 29 and the Schuylkill Technology Center have been awarded a $250,000 state grant to create new training pathways for aspiring carpenters, according to Dave Argall and state Representatives Tim Twardzik, Jamie Barton, JoAnne Stehr and Dane Watro.
