Shenandoah Police File Charges for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Shendandoah Police have filed misdemeanor charges against three women that were in possession of drug paraphernalia.


Police were called to 223 E Centre street (Arts and Crafts apartment building) for suspicious activity. Upon arrival, Police located 3 females loitering in the stairwell of the apartment building.

Police were aware of outstanding warrants on Angela Pleva and Melanie Zimmerman who were present in the stairwell. Both females were taken into custody. Pleva was in possession of a small, clear smoking pipe which was used to ingest drugs.

Zimmerman was in possession of a "homemade" smoking device which was made from tinfoil. Zimmerman was also in possession of a small baggie that contained Synthetic Marijuana and a cigarette cellophane which contained Synthetic Marijuana.

Pleva was turned over to adult probation and Zimmerman was released to Minersville PD because of warrants.

Rachel Pleva-Stanko who was also with Zimmerman and Pleva was arrested for being under the influence of narcotics. Stanko was in possession of "cooking kit" made up of Hypodermic needles, tinfoil, a spoon, blow torch type lighter, several small empty baggies, and 9 miscellaneous pills. Police were familiar with the type of kit and it is known to introduce drugs to the body.

Charges for possession of drug paraphernalia was filled against Zimmerman, Pleva and Pleva-Stanko.
