Twardzik Honors Former 123rd District Representative Edward ‘EJ’ Lucyk


State Rep. Tim Twardzik (R-Schuylkill) joined fellow legislators this week in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives to honor the late Edward “EJ” Lucyk, who represented Schuylkill County’s 123rd Legislative District for 11 consecutive terms from 1980 to 2002.

ROAD CLOSURE: Darkwater Road to Close for Weekend Construction



The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has announced that Darkwater Road near St. Clair, will be closed and detoured beginning at 10:00 p.m. Friday, November 7, 2025, through 4:00 a.m. Monday, November 10, 2025, as part of the ongoing Route 61 reconstruction project between Frackville and St. Clair.
