According to WNEP, Jose Paulino, 38, of Tamaqua was running around the Sunoco Mini Market parking lot shouting obscenities early Friday morning. When officers responded and attempted to subdue Paulino, they needed to use at least one taser on him.
Paulino was taken to hospital where he later died.
The investigation into the incident is now in the hands of the State Police.
