County Commissioners Seek Re-Election

On Sunday, Frank Staudenmeier and George Halcovage, officially announced that they will be seeking re-election for Schuylkill County Commissioner.

From holding the line on tax increases, partnering with the business community to protect and create family-sustaining jobs, implementing a state-of-the-art 911 System for our emergency responders to improve community safety, to increasing the County’s recycling program to protect our environment, Commissioners Frank Staudenmeier and George Halcovage say they have kept their promises to help revitalize Schuylkill County.

“As lifelong Schuylkill County residents, George and I are committed to making county government truly serve the people. That is why we worked so hard to restore fiscal responsibility in county government, enhance community safety, and create an economic environment that protected and generated family-sustaining jobs,” stated Commissioner Staudenmeier.

“We take our responsibilities very seriously. As stewards of your tax dollars, we know that the only way we can make Schuylkill County a better place to live, work and raise a family is to keep taxes low. Thanks to constant financial vigilance in the day to day operations of county government, Frank and I were pleased to present another budget this year that expanded services while not raising taxes,” continued Commissioner Halcovage.
