The Winter Storm Forecast - Tuesday at Noon

Our weatherman "Monsoon Mike" is watching the storm and here is his latest forecast from him as of noon Tuesday.

No changes to my prior thoughts. The snowflakes you are seeing is part 1 of our multi-part storm. They will end soon and we have a few dry hours. Things kick off again later this afternoon as a rain/snow/sleet mix far north, mainly rain elsewhere. Far north, especially from I-78 on north, the evening commute could be icy. Then it's all heavy plain rain and wind tonight and tomorrow morning. Another break later tomorrow morning and early afternoon. Some back end light snow for everyone possible at the end of the day tomorrow making tomorrow evening's driving a hassle, in some areas. Then FLASH FREEZE tomorrow night as everything left wet on the ground freezes up. Then windy and cold Thanksgiving Day with the return of sun. Got all that?? Be safe out there folks!
