Fire Damages Home in Pottsville on Friday

Around Noon Friday, emergency personnel were called to 1009 West Howard Avenue for a reported house fire.

When crews arrived they found the fire to be on the 2nd floor of the home and had the fire out within 15 minutes.

One person was reported to have been transported to the hospital for treatment.

The Schuylkill County Red Cross was on hand to help the victims of the fire.

Pottsville City Fire was called as well as Schuylkill Haven Fire for their RIT.
