Winter Storm to Blame for 3 Deaths

The winter storm that dumped over two feet of snow on Schuylkill County has been blamed for 3 deaths.


Authorities say 2 people from Ringtown and 1 from Wayne Township passed away due to heart attacks while shoveling.

The three have been identified as

• Edger Gilliam, 81 of Ringtown
• Joseph Piampi, 55, of Ringtown
• Anna Heffner, 83, Wayne Township
