Bonnie Lee Barron, 56 of Tamaqua, Pennsylvania passed away on Sunday, November 3, 2019 while a patient at St. Luke's Hospital in Allentown.

Born Thursday, December 13, 1962, she was the daughter of the late Leonard Barron and the late Jean (Ketchledge) Barron. She was also predeceased by her sister, Barbara Jean Brode.

Bonnie was employed in the dietary department of St. Luke's Hospital Miner's Campus, Coaldale, PA for 26 years .

Bonnie is survived by her niece, Barron-Lynne George and her husband Andy along with their son, Jaxon.

Sylvia J. (Tracy) Arner, 86 yrs. of age of Tamaqua, passed away on Sunday, November 3, 2019, at Hometown Nursing & Rehabilitation Ctr. in Hometown.

Born Thursday, March 30, 1933 in Coaldale, Pennsylvania the daughter of the late Daniel and Veronica (Fulmer) Tracy. She was also predeceased by her husband Joseph S. Arner on March 12, 2005 sisters, Rose McCarroll, Catherine Secara; brothers, Michael, Francis, Thomas, Daniel, Clement, Jerome, and Joseph Tracy.

Surviving are son, Joseph S. Arner, Jr. and his companion Hollye Witkus of Middleport; daughters, Donna M. Zelonis wife of David of Mary D, Veronica C. Wood wife of Martin of Middleport, Ruth V. Morgan wife of David of Middleport; brothers, Charles Tracy of Tamaqua, John Tracy and his wife Patricia of Tamaqua; sister, Teresa M. Zawatwicz of Philadelphia; grand children, Nicole Trubilla, James Matsago, Christopher Huegel, Scott Zelonis; great grandchild, Charlotte Trubilla and many nieces and nephews.

Sylvia attended St. Jerome's School and worked in the Textile Industry for many years. Sylvia retired from McAdoo Cigar. She was a member of St. John XXIII R.C.C. of Tamaqua and was a devoted mother, grandmother and sister.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday November 11, 2019 at 11 o'clock A.M. from St. John XXIII R.C.C. 301 Pine Street Tamaqua, Pennsylvania 18252.

The family will receive friends from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM on Monday, November 11, 2019, at the funeral home.

Interment St. Jerome R.C.C. Cemetery Tamaqua, Pennsylvania.

Mary Eleanor Smith died at 84 years old on her birthday Saturday NOV 2, 2019 at Broad Mountain Nursing and Rehabilitation in Frackville. 

Born in Mahanoy City she was the daughter of the late Edward and Elizabeth (Farnsworth) Wall. She was a graduate of Mahanoy City High School and worked in transportation for Schuylkill Intermediate Unit 29. Mary enjoyed shopping and cooking for her family, friends and neighbors. 

Preceding her in death were her husband Cletus T. Smith, son Randy Smith, grandson Tyler Smith, 6 brothers William, Thomas "Yock", George, Robert, David and Daniel and four sisters Elizabeth "Bette" Reed, Evelyn Bitting, Hilda Ashfield and Jean Zimmerman. 

She is survived by a son Gary Smith of Mahanoy City, 2 brothers Donald Wall of Frackville and John "Jack" Wall of Las Vegas, 2 granddaughters Lacey (Smith) Arena and Gabrielle Smith and three great grandchildren Kamryn, Levi and Kaylee and many nieces and nephews. 

Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral on Saturday morning at 11 AM from David D. Jarrett Funeral Home of Mahanoy City. The Rev. Robert Adams will officiate. 

Interment will follow at Sky View Memorial Park in Hometown. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday morning beginning at 9:30 AM.

Jean M. Bender, 82, of Lincoln Rd., Pine Grove, passed away on Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at home.

Born on April 9, 1937 in Ashland, she was a daughter of the late Vincent and Mildred Ditzel Borinsky.
She was a graduate of Minersville High School and received a certificate in Nursing. She was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Pine Grove.
Jean worked as a machine operator for Jetson Direct Mail. She also had worked at Fox Knapp and 
Tremont Health & Rehab Center.
Preceding her in death were her husband of 55 years, Earl L. Bender, Sr.; two sons, Earl Bender, Jr. and Lawrence Bender; three grandchildren, Alexis Bender, Jeffrey Slane, Kyle Bender; a great granddaughter Holly Wenrich; a sister Elaine Clark; four brothers, Jerry, Vince, Larry and Joseph Borinsky.
Surviving are three daughters, Ruth and husband Andy Casterline of Lincoln, Theresa and husband Bruce Hand of Lorberry, Betty Bender and companion Ed Hauptly of Branchdale; 7 grandchildren, Nicky, Nichole, Angella, Felicia, Jeremy, Dustin and Marcella; 10 great grandchildren, Brock, London, Sheila, Veronica, Sara, Christopher, Sapphire, Anthony, Bentlee and Savannah; 3 great great grandchildren, Oliver, Xander and Levi; a sister Karen Vance; two brothers, Robert Borinsky and Allen Borinsky.
Graveside Services and Interment will be held at St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery at the convenience of the family with Pastor Barry Spatz officiating.
The H. L. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., is in charge of arrangements.
