Danny Ray Carl, 50, of Muir, son of the late Tommy R. Carl, Sr. and Margaret A. Carl passed away from injuries sustained in a tragic car accident on Wednesday, November 11, 2020. Two of his beloved children Danny Jr, 18 and Isabella, 17 passed away in the same accident.
He is survived by his son Ryan Carl (Kelly), York and 3 grandchildren; Rylan, Sawyer and Averie, a sister; Carol Wise (Jerry) Pine Grove, a brother Tommy R. Carl, Jr. (Jan), Lykens, a sister Sheri Carl, Middletown. Nieces and nephews, Jeremy Wise (Mary), Harrisburg; Cameron Wise (Tia), Pine Grove; Savannah Wise, Pine Grove; Tommy R. Carl, III (Megan) Orlando, FL and Keegan Carl, Lykens.
He was also predeceased by his beloved dog Jo-Jo. Danny was employed by PP&L for 15 years as a Transmission System Operator. His greatest joy was spending time with his children and grandchildren. They meant the world to him. He was very involved in all of their activities and proudly attended all their sporting events and activities.
Danny was a big man, with an even bigger heart and will be remembered as a proud and generous father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and friend with a great sense of humor. He had many friends who will dearly miss his company, especially his best friend since childhood Dan "Boone" Daub. He was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers from a very young age and attended many practices, spring trainings and games in Pittsburgh throughout the years. He enjoyed going on vacation to the Poconos and Myrtle Beach. Danny was the first person to send birthday and holiday texts, or give you get well wishes. He loved people and was very easy to talk with.
Danny was a 1988 graduate of Williams Valley High School. He also attended Williamson Trade School. He was a member of Christ United Methodist Church, Tower City. He also enjoyed being a member of many social clubs including; Muir Fire Company, Orwin Fire Company, Orwin Gun Club, Williamstown VFW, Williamstown American Legion. He supported each of them with his time and energy.
A public visitation will be held for Danny, Danny Jr. and Isabella on Saturday, November 21st from 9-12 noon from the Muir Foursquare Gospel Church, Muir. Full CDC guidelines will be followed and masks are required. Following the visitation, a private funeral service will be held with his former father-in-law whom Danny dearly loved, Bishop Dr. Angel L. Nunez and Pastor Luke Heald. Burial will be in the Methodist Cemetery, Muir. The service will be live-streamed on the Muir 4SQ Church and the Dimon Funeral Home Facebook page. A memorial scholarship fund has been established. She is survived by her mother and step-father, Venus and Adam Whitmore, Tower City; her brother, Ryan Carl and his wife Kelly, York; step-brothers, Ethan, Ezra, Ezekiel Whitmore; maternal grandparents Rosa A. She was currently a senior at Williams Valley High School, where she was the statistician for the boys soccer team, a member of the Student Council and was on the prom committee. She narrowed down her college choices to Pitt, Penn State or Bloomsburg. She also worked part-time at Dairy Queen, Lykens. Isabella was dedicated and consecrated in the Muir Foursquare Gospel Church.
Isabella was just a joy with a little sass. Her smile was infectious. She enjoyed her shopping trips, collecting purses and modeling clothing. She was the friend everyone wanted to have, and was that one friend that was there for everyone. She was mature beyond her years.

Danny was a 2020 graduate of Williams Valley High School, where he played soccer, and was a former member of the Viking Pride Marching Band with the percussion line and was a member of the stage crew for the high school musicals. Danny was dedicated and consecrated in the Muir Foursquare Gospel Church.
Danny was currently employed by Metal Industries, Hegins.
He could often be found playing streetball, Xbox and hanging with his many friends. It could be said that Danny never had an enemy, if you were his friend you were truly blessed. He was a GREAT listener. He will be remembered for always smiling, walking on his tiptoes and being a great snuggler.

Born in New Jersey on September 4, 1934, John was the son of the late Michael and Elizabeth (nee Shulla) Uzick. A 1952 graduate of Tamaqua High School, he graduated from the University of Maryland and Villanova University earning both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in mechanical engineering. A licensed professional engineer, John worked for the Atlas Powder Company for 37 years. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. In 1999, John was inducted into the Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame as a football player. He was a Lutheran.
In addition to his wife Gloria, John is survived by daughter, Elaine Woodland and her husband, Chip of Berwick, PA; sister, Dorothy Stafiniak of Bethlehem, PA; 2 nephews; and a niece.

John J. Lutz, 81, of Lemoyne, PA and formerly of Tamaqua, PA, died on Wednesday, November 11, 2020 in Harrisburg, PA.
Born in Coaldale, PA on January 1, 1939, he was the son of the late John J., Sr. and Pauline (nee Gzik) Lutz. A 1957 graduate of Tamaqua High School, John earned a bachelor’s degree from East Stroudsburg University and taught seventh and eighth grade in East Stroudsburg, PA. He was a member of the former Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Tamaqua. John loved music and that love was expressed by playing in a band, owning a record shop, and participating in country line dancing.
He is survived by daughters, Nicole Spuhler of North Carolina, Angelique Ward and her husband John of Mechanicsburg, PA, Francine Mellot of Hershey, PA, and Selena Lutz of Shippensburg, PA; grandchildren, Erik Sorensen, Nicolas Sorensen, Ridgley Ward and Emily Ward; sister, Jacqueline Burke of Ocean City, NJ; a nephew; and a niece.
John was predeceased by a sister, Ann Lutz in 2002.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.

He was employed at Lehigh Valley Dairy and previsouly at JDM.
He loved fishing, and riding motorcycles and spending time with his girls and family. He was excited to teach Jacob how to play baseball and loved doing family outings.

Born in Girardville she was a daughter of the late Matthew and Elsie Barnes Urban. She had been employed as a cashier for the former Acme Markets and later did clerical work for Yesalavage Insurance Company.
She was a member of St. Vincent’s Catholic Church Girardville. Jean was a graduate of the former Girardville High School and enjoyed playing the violin.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers William E. Urban Sr. and Robert F. Urban.
She is survived by her sister-in-law Joan Urban and by several nieces and nephews.
Private services and interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
Charles L. Bolton, 81, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away Thursday, November 12th, at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Schuylkill, E. Norwegian St., Pottsville.
Born in Schuylkill Haven, on December 4, 1938, a son of the late Emanuel & Thelma (Aungst) Bolton.
He was a graduate of Schuylkill Haven High School, class of 1956. He was formerly employed by Reider's Shoe Co as a floor person for 22 years, then Wetterau Industries as a truck loader and retiring from Post Precision Castings as a pattern maker.
He was a member of St. John's UCC, Schuylkill Haven, Summit Station Fire Co., where he served as past Assistant Chief, and the Summit Station Fire Police.
Charles was an avid Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies fan. He enjoyed dirt track racing, playing cards, and Bingo.
He was preceded in death by his brother James Bolton and a granddaughter Amanda Stump.
Charles is survived by his children David C. Bolton husband of Doris, Schuylkill Haven, Sherry G. Stump wife of Robert, Schuylkill Haven, Terri K. Cleary wife of Phillip, Pine Grove, Lori J. Gerald P. Schuettler, 69, of Tremont, formerly of Stein’s Mill, Branch Township, passed away on Wednesday at Geisinger-St. Luke Hospital.
Born in Pottsville, he was a son of the late Wilbur and June Bast Schuettler. He was a 1969 graduate of Schuylkill Haven High School and attended the former Rembrandt Beauty Academy, Pottsville. He was employed by Jade Management as the regional manager for several local restaurants. He had previously worked for Rite-Aid; and had also worked in automotive and insurance sales.
He was a member of Friedens Lutheran Church, Stein’s Mill; and had also been a founding member of the CB Channel 12 Lollipoppers Club. He was also an assistant troop leader alongside his wife for the local girl scouts for over 10 years.
Gerald is survived by his wife of 34 years, the former Margaret Ann Wetzel; two daughters, Amanda Schuettler (companion, Carlos Ballester), Minersville, and Victoria Huntzinger (spouse, Kyle), Minersville; five grandchildren, Elizabeth, Anela, Kayleigh, Dayvian and Keyarah. He is also survived by four siblings, Terrill Searle, North Port, Florida, Jacqueline Mattern (spouse, Jim), Willow Lake, Robert Schuettler (spouse, Tina), Venice, Florida, and Marian Luckenbill, Sweet Arrow Lake; nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Gerald’s life will be conducted at a later date.

Barbara A. Miller, 66, of Tower City, passed away Friday, November 13, 2020 at her home surrounded by her family after an 11 year courageous battle against breast cancer.
Born in Lykens, April 11, 1954, a daughter of the late Lawrence and Betty Trego Scheib.
Barb was a 1972 graduate of Williams Valley High School. She was a school bus driver for the Williams Valley School District for over 25 years. A job she loved, and looked forward to seeing her "kids" every day.
Her family was the center of her world. Car racing was a huge part of Barb's life, she could often be found in the stands cheering on her son and grandsons. She loved camping and everyone was always welcomed at Barb and John's.
On August 23rd Barb and John's family and friends surprised them with ceremony to renew their wedding vows. It was a day that will never be forgotten.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Larry, Tim, Aaron and Paul Scheib.
Surviving is the love of her life, her husband of 49 years, John M. Miller; two children, Troy Miller and his wife Jennifer, Tower City and Heather Hendricks and her her husband Derrick, Ringtown; brother, Daniel Scheib and his wife Denise, Tower City; sister, Jeanne Blyler and her husband Lenny, Jonestown; six grandchildren she adored, Shaun, Rebecca, Matthew, Rayce and Autumn. Nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 18th from 10-11 am from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Home, Inc. Full CDC guidelines will be followed and masks are required. Following the visitation a graveside service will begin at 11:15 am from St. Peter's Cemetery, Orwin with Pastor Annette Shutt officiating. Born in Lykens, April 11, 1954, a daughter of the late Lawrence and Betty Trego Scheib.
Barb was a 1972 graduate of Williams Valley High School. She was a school bus driver for the Williams Valley School District for over 25 years. A job she loved, and looked forward to seeing her "kids" every day.
Her family was the center of her world. Car racing was a huge part of Barb's life, she could often be found in the stands cheering on her son and grandsons. She loved camping and everyone was always welcomed at Barb and John's.
On August 23rd Barb and John's family and friends surprised them with ceremony to renew their wedding vows. It was a day that will never be forgotten.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Larry, Tim, Aaron and Paul Scheib.
Surviving is the love of her life, her husband of 49 years, John M. Miller; two children, Troy Miller and his wife Jennifer, Tower City and Heather Hendricks and her her husband Derrick, Ringtown; brother, Daniel Scheib and his wife Denise, Tower City; sister, Jeanne Blyler and her husband Lenny, Jonestown; six grandchildren she adored, Shaun, Rebecca, Matthew, Rayce and Autumn. Nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 18th from 10-11 am from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Home, Inc. Full CDC guidelines will be followed and masks are required. Following the visitation a graveside service will begin at 11:15 am from St. Peter's Cemetery, Orwin with Pastor Annette Shutt officiating. Richard J. Krasnitsky, 80, of West West Terrace, Branch twp., passed away at Thursday, November 12th, in his home.
Richard was born in Pottsville, Pa. on July 3, 1940, a son of the late Elvina (Lavenburg) and Adam G. Krasnitsky. He was the husband of Annamary M. (Mahoney) Krasnitsky. He was a member of Saint Michael the Archangel Church of the Holy Family Parish, Minersville. Richard served in the U.S. Army. He was a senior member of the Cass Township 57-58 Unscored upon football team, was a little league baseball coach for Branch Township, and was an active member and treasurer for the AFL-CIO union for many years. He worked at Hoffman Industries in Sinking Spring for 39 years. He was an avid High school sports fan especially Nativity BVM football and basketball teams. He loved to travel, watch old westerns, and spend time with his five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a Sister, Georgine Reinhart and Brother, Kenny Krasnitsky.
Richard is survived by his wife Annamary, a daughter, Maria H., wife of Benny Rowlands, a son, Joseph R., husband of Leanne Krasnitsky.
Richard is also survived by three sisters, Joanne Himmelberger, Darlene Morgan, and Linda Wagner. Two brothers, James Krasnitsky and George Krasnitsky. He is also survived by his grandchildren; McKayla, Meghan, & Dominic Rowlands. Olivia & Quinn Krasnitsky.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 9:30 am Wednesday, November 18th at Saint Michael the Archangel Church of the Holy Family Parish in Minersville, with Reverend Jason F. Stokes officiating. All are respectfully invited to attend a visitation Wednesday morning with calling hours from 8:15 to 9:00 am at the Mahal-Ritzel Funeral Home Inc., Minersville. Interment at St. Kieran #2 Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Holy Family Parish or Nativity BVM General Fund. Due to COVID-19, all recommended social distancing, mask requirements, and public safety guidelines will be followed.
