Donald W. Oliver, 81 years of age, of 222 East Broad Street Tamaqua, Pennsylvania died on Friday, November 20, 2020, at home.

Born Tuesday, August 1, 1939 in Owen City, Indiana the son of the late Charles Herbert, and Venda (Henry) Oliver. He was also predeceased by his wife, Maxine (Hendrick) Oliver; brother, James John Oliver.

Surviving are daughter, Michelle Heisley and her husband, Jerry, brother, Charles F. Oliver of Andreas; sister Angela Louise Oliver; 3 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; many nieces and nephews also survive Donald.

A graduate of Ellettsville High School, Donald served honorably in the United states Army, and retired from General Electric Corporation.

Carol L Schwartz
, age 79, of Hegins, passed away Thursday, November 19, 2020 at Lehigh Valley Hospital - E Norwegian St, Pottsville.

She was born on Wednesday, December 25, 1940, in Valley View, a daughter of the late Henry H Conrad and the late Iva M (Williard) Conrad.

She was a 1958 graduate of Tri Valley High School.

She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Pottsville; where she enjoyed studying the Bible and sharing what she learned with others.

Carol enjoyed writing, drawing, playing instruments, dancing, making cards, cooking and baking, playing games, and most of all spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her loving husband Franklin J Schwartz, to whom she was married for 61 years.

She is also survived by two daughters, Leisha L Deitrich and her husband Michael of Hegins, and Lana M Weller and her husband Glenn of Sunbury; a son, Lamar F Schwartz and his wife Rebecca of Tremont; three grandchildren, Ben Deitrich, Keri Wilkinson, Austin Schwartz; three great grandchildren, Eliza and Evan Deitrich, Cash Schwartz; a sister, Sally Bixler of Hometown; two brothers, Lynn Conrad of Pine Grove and Henry Conrad of Valley View; and several nephews.

Due to the current health concerns, a memorial service will be arranged at a later date via video conference.

Burial will be made in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Valley View.

Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, is in charge of arrangements.

Dennis W. Spotts Sr.
, 65, of Pottsville, passed away Thursday at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest, Allentown.

Born Aug. 16, 1955, in Pottsville, he was a son of the late Willis H. and Esther Mae Weiderhold Spotts.

Dennis was a 1974 graduate of Pottsville Area High School. He then went on to graduate from Schuylkill Career and Technology Center, Frackville. Dennis was a truck driver for FCI most of his life. He also worked in construction.

He was a member of Life Center Foursquare Gospel, Pottsville. The loves of his life were his wife, children, family and church. Dennis was also a former member of Good Will Hose Company No. 4, Pottsville.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Francis and Kenneth Spotts.

He is survived by his wife, Carla Moser; his children, Jason Fowler, husband to Fallon, of Pottsville, Jennifer Spotts, fiancee to Nicholas Zimmerman, of Saint Clair, Jacquelynn M. Dissinger, of Pottsville, Nikki Spotts, of Pottsville, Dennis Spotts Jr., companion to Mercedes Rivera, of Pottsville, Daniel Spotts, fiance to Crystal Tyner, of Lancaster, Sassy Spotts, companion to Joshua Stoudt, of Pottsville, and Sammanthia Wyroski, wife of Gerald II, of Pottsville. Dennis is also survived by 18 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, along with sister, Janice Greene; brothers, Willis and Earle Spotts.

A private memorial service will be held at the family's convenience. Interment will be held on the grounds of Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven. Grabowski Funeral Home is entrusted with the services. Memories and condolences can be shared at www.grabowskifuneralhome.com.
