Around 3:00pm, Monday, emergency personnel from Butler Township were called to Route 901 north of Lavelle near the Northumberland/Schuylkill County line for a motor vehicle accident.
Additional personnel were then called to shut down the roadway from near Turkey Hill in Lavelle as well as at the intersection of Route 54 and Route 901.
No details are available on the crash at this time.
UPDATE: As of 3:55pm, Route 901 is now open.
