Two people were injured on Wednesday in a head-on crash in West Brunswick Township.
According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Schuylkill Haven, the crash occurred on Wednesday, November 18th, 2020 around 6:40pm on Route 61 at the intersection with Summer Valley Road.
Troopers say the crash occurred as Abreu Modesto, 68, of Orlando, FL, in a Honda Pilot attempted to make an unlawful left turn from Route 61 from the southbound lane.
A second vehicle, a Chevrolet Malibu being driven by John Twardzik, 63, of Saint Clair was traveling north on Route 61.
Both vehicles struck head-on causing disabling damage to both.
Twardzik was reported to have suffered serious injuries in the crash was was transported via Pottsville/Schuylkill Haven EMS to an area hospital.
Modesto was also injured and transported.
Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
Modesto will be charged/cited for the crash.
