11 Crashes Reported on Interstate 81 in Lebanon County Within 4 Hours Christmas Evening

The Pennsylvania State Police at Jonestown report that they responded to 11 crashes Christmas evening in Lebanon County.

According to troopers, Troopers responded to 11 crashes between the hours of 8:00pm and midnight on December 25th, 2020 on Interstate 81 between mile markers 85 and 93.

The crashes were due to cold temperatures and icy roadway conditions and included commercial vehicles.

The Interstate was closed at Exit 85 and with traffic being rerouted onto Route 22 and reopened around 1:00am.
