Man Wanted by State Police for Robbing and Assaulting Ex-Girlfriend in Girardville

The Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville are looking for a man that allegedly robbed and assaulted a woman in Girardville on Sunday.

According to Troopers, on Sunday, January 17th, 2021 around 10:10am, a domestic disturbance / assault was investigated on West Ogden Street in Girardville.

The female victim alleged, that her ex-boyfriend, Michael Joyner, 31, forced his way into her locked residence through a rear door earlier that morning.

Once inside, Joyner allegedly forcibly removed the victim's cell phone from her hands and punched her in the face, then fled on foot before State Police arrived.

Troopers also found that Joyner currently has an active arrest warrant issued for his arrest from the Pennsylvania State Board of Probation and Parole.

Joyner is described as a black male, 6' 1" tall, weighing 165 pounds, brown hair, and brown eyes.

State Police are pursuing a felony arrest warrant for the allegations against Joyner for the robbery and assault.
